InnEO Space PhD
The InnEO Space PhD project is a European initiative designed to enhance the skills of young researchers in Earth Observation through a series of SPOCs (Small Private Online Courses) and specialized training tools.
A SPOC is a type of online course aimed at a restricted audience, typically used in academic and professional settings to offer targeted, high-quality learning experiences with interactive elements. Unlike MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), which are open to a broad audience, SPOCs provide a more personalized and engaging approach to education.
The project was developed through the collaboration of five international partners:
- ReMedia (Italy)
- Tor Vergata University (Italy)
- Transylvania University (Romania)
- Toulouse University (France)
- Aerospace Valley (France)
Funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program, InnEO Space PhD aims to bridge the gap between technical expertise (Hard Skills) and professional development (Soft Skills), preparing the next generation of researchers to tackle real-world challenges in Earth Observation.
